The Stratton Valley RR is located in the mountains of Vermont. As with all railroads, it needs a time frame. The purpose of this railroad is to transport very large granite blocks from Stratton Mountain, all the way to the Connecticut River, where it is shipped down the river to destinations in New York, for new buildings. The railroad also provides a small, but important role, of transporting passengers locally. Control is by NCE DCC.
