Dave’s Greenland Valley RR was featured in the May 2004 Model Railroader magazine. The layout is 22’ x 30’, modeling the Boston & Maine Railroad in the late 1940s to early 1950s. DCC is used, along with Easy Model Railroad software and JMRI Panel Pro for operations. The layout features a large granite quarry, a logging camp, a paper mill, and a waterfront area with a large coaling facility dominating this area. Many of the buildings are kit-bashed, or scratch-built. Some of the kits featured on the layout are from South River Model Works, Sheepscot Models, FSM, FOS, Seaport Models, Rusty Stumps, BEST, and many more.
