A CTC Machine for the CS&P

The Canada Spokane & Pacific was designed and built to support operations. The CS&P uses a Centralized Traffic Control (CTC) system to control train movements on the mainline. A replica US&S CTC machine was built and installed in the dispatcher’s office in 2020. This clinic provides an overview of:

1. Different Traffic Control Systems with a focus on CTC.
2. The functions of the machine and how the dispatcher uses it to route trains.
3. How the CS&P’s CTC machine was implemented
