There is a middle ground between painting the pounds of type metal required for the interiors in contest models and painting the windows black to hide an empty space. Mike has long used simple drawings on card stock, wood and found objects to quickly and simply provide the illusion of a detailed interior. The simplicity of digital photography has also caused him to experiment with photographic interiors.
