Dick’s switching layout consists of 50’ by 1’ wide shelf layout that is fully sceniced, and is connected via a wye to the two level 30’ x 6’ peninsula with a dual track helix. One end represents the New Haven 50s – 60s, the other end is operated by the Connecticut Central, circa 1985 – 2000. The track work on the peninsula is near completion, which allows for operations. The layout is accessed by a stairway from the garage to the basement. The layout uses Digitrax DCC.
