For some people, model railroading means having a permanent layout in a basement or spare room. For others, it means building modules and creating temporary layouts at shows, or private setups with other module owners. This clinic will discuss some of the different modular standards, and go into some detail about T-Trak, N-Trak, and Free-mo. Various operating schemes for modular layouts will be discussed. There will be an HO scale Free-mo layout on-site, where convention attendees will be able to operate trains and test out the concept of a modular layout.
