The Danby, Ludlow & Springfield is a fictitious bridge line set in the area served by the Rutland Bellows Falls Subdivision in 1954. The variety of trains consist of steam and diesel-powered through, as well as local freight and passenger trains. All power is sound equipped. Sequence scheduling and car forwarding are done with JMRI-created switch lists. Layout is self-dispatched and communication is face-to face, to coordinate meets at passing sidings over the single track mainline.
