No two types of freight cars are ever weathered the same. It’s true! From the boxcars that are caked in graffiti that have had their reporting marks changed numerous times, to salt cars that would probably give you tetanus if you touched them, and scrap metal gondolas that look like they belong in a scrap yard themselves, follow along as I show how to realistically weather any modern freight cars using Doc O’Brien’s weathering powders. I’ll demonstrate the tips, tricks and methodology used to make your rolling stock really stand out. As a bonus, I’ll mention some of the ways to patch and redo reporting marks as well as add graffiti.
