The museum has two layouts for public presentation and STEM education purposes. The O scale layout is complete but the HO scale layout is under construction with goal of 75% of trackwork in place by September 11. It will be a single level dog bone configuration with a peninsula featuring towns from New Hampshire’s White Mountains plus Wolfeboro and scenes southward towards Boston via the Boston and Maine Railroad. The HO layout is controlled by Digitrax DCC, has occupancy sensing, and will be computer controlled or under visitor control. The O-scale layout is controlled by NCE and TrainController and also has occupancy sensing.
